Licensing & Disclosure

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This Licensing & Disclosures Policy provides information regarding professional licensing, certifications, regulatory disclosures, and legal limitations applicable to services, products, and digital tools offered by Pennate. This policy applies in addition to Pennate’s Terms of Service and other applicable policies.

General Disclosure

Pennate provides landscape-related services, consulting, design services, material delivery, plant sales, and digital tools. Not all services offered by Pennate require professional licensure, and Pennate does not represent itself as providing services requiring licensure unless explicitly stated in writing.

References to experience, expertise, education, or industry knowledge do not imply licensure, certification, or regulatory approval beyond what is expressly disclosed.

Licensure Status

Pennate’s licensure, registrations, and certifications may vary by service type, jurisdiction, and regulatory authority.

Certain licenses, registrations, or certifications may be pending, provisional, or subject to approval at the time services are offered. Licensure status may change at any time as applications are submitted, reviewed, approved, modified, or renewed.

Pennate reserves the right to limit, modify, or decline services based on licensure status, regulatory requirements, or jurisdictional constraints.

Landscape Design & Consulting

Landscape consulting and design services provided by Pennate are advisory and conceptual in nature.

Unless expressly stated in writing, Pennate does not provide architectural, engineering, surveying, or permitting services, and design deliverables are not intended for regulatory submission.

Irrigation Services

Irrigation-related services are limited to diagnostics, assessments, evaluations, and seasonal system resets as described in applicable service-specific terms.

Pennate does not represent that irrigation services constitute licensed plumbing, electrical, or engineering work unless explicitly stated and permitted by applicable law.

Installation & Construction Work

Installation, construction, or modification of landscape elements may be performed directly by Pennate, by subcontractors, or by third parties, depending on project scope, jurisdiction, and regulatory requirements.

Where licensure is required for specific activities, Pennate may engage appropriately licensed professionals or limit services accordingly.

Low-Voltage Landscape Lighting

Pennate may offer low-voltage landscape lighting design concepts, layouts, fixture selection guidance, or limited installation services where permitted by applicable law.

Low-voltage lighting services, if offered, are limited in scope and do not include high-voltage electrical work, service panel modifications, utility connections, or activities requiring licensed electrical contractors unless expressly stated in writing.

Availability, scope, and execution of lighting services may vary by project, jurisdiction, and site conditions. Pennate reserves the right to limit or decline lighting-related work based on regulatory, safety, or operational considerations.

Nursery Stock & Plant Sales

Pennate maintains required nursery stock dealer registration(s) as applicable under Florida law.

Plant sales, transport, and delivery are subject to state and local regulations. Pennate does not ship live plant material outside of Florida unless expressly permitted and arranged in compliance with applicable law.

Digital Tools & Educational Content

Digital tools, applications, guides, educational materials, and online content provided by Pennate are informational only and do not constitute licensed professional advice.

Use of such materials does not establish a professional-client relationship beyond what is defined in applicable service agreements or policies.

No Warranties or Regulatory Guarantees

Pennate makes no representations or warranties that services, designs, recommendations, materials, or tools will meet regulatory requirements, pass inspections, or achieve specific outcomes unless expressly stated in writing.

Jurisdictional Limitations

Services, products, and digital tools are offered subject to jurisdictional limitations. Regulatory requirements may vary by location.

Pennate reserves the right to limit, modify, or decline services based on regulatory, licensing, or jurisdictional considerations.

Changes to Licensing & Disclosures

Pennate may obtain additional licenses, certifications, registrations, or regulatory approvals in the future. This policy may be updated at any time to reflect changes in licensing status, regulatory interpretation, or service offerings.
